DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate

will have strong expertise in infrastructure provisioning, automation, CI/CD,

containerization, and deployment across on-premises and Kubernetes environments. You

will be responsible for building reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure, while ensuring

smooth deployments and high availability of applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, provision, and manage infrastructure (on-premises and cloud.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools for

automated deployments.

Manage deployments on Kubernetes clusters (including Helm, manifests,

and scaling).

Install, configure, and manage Redis clusters for high availability and

performance.

Write and maintain Terraform code for infrastructure as code (IaC).

Manage virtualization platforms such as Proxmox and other VM

technologies (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V).

Ensure system reliability, performance monitoring, and incident

management.

Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana,

ELK/EFK, or similar tools.3

Collaborate with development teams to enable smooth software delivery.

Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and system-level issues.

Ensure security best practices across deployments and pipelines.

Must Have Skills

Strong knowledge of infrastructure provisioning and automation.

Hands-on experience with Jenkins CI/CD (or equivalent).

Expertise in Kubernetes deployments and container orchestration.

Proficiency in Docker and containerization concepts.

Experience in Redis cluster setup and management.

Strong skills in Terraform for IaC.

Good understanding of Proxmox and other virtualization platforms.

Solid knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting.

Familiarity with networking fundamentals (DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls,

Reverse Proxies).

Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills.

Good-to-have Skills.

Hands-on experience with AWS services: CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CloudWatch,

EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, EKS.

Exposure to other cloud providers (GCP/Azure).

Experience with Configuration Management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

Understanding of GitOps practices using ArgoCD or FluxCD.

Familiarity with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd, Consul).

Knowledge of database clusters (Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB).

Performance optimization and disaster recovery planning.4

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent

experience).

Proven experience working as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

Strong technical foundation with logical and analytical problem-solving skills.
