Devops Engineer

What You Will Be Doing:

• Build & Automate Cloud Infrastructure Design, deploy, and optimize cloud environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Set Up CI/CD & Deployment Pipelines Develop automated workflows to streamline code integration, testing, and deployment for faster releases.
• Monitor & Improve System Performance Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Manage Containers & Scalability Deploy and maintain containerized applications, ensuring efficient resource utilization and high availability.
• Ensure Security & Reliability Enforce access controls, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans to safeguard infrastructure and data.
• Adapt & Scale with the Startup Take on dynamic responsibilities, quickly learn new technologies, and evolve processes to meet growing business needs.

Must Haves:

• Experience: 3+ years in DevOps or related roles, focusing on cloud environments, automation, CI/CD, and Linux system administration. Strong expertise in debugging and infrastructure performance improvements.
• Cloud Expertise: In-depth experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), including services like EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, etc.
• IaC Tools: Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Scripting Skills: Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Containerization: Experience with Docker, including managing containers in production.
• Monitoring Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, New Relic, and Datadog.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git and code repository management.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Database Management: Experience with managing and tuning databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Deployment Pipelines: Experience with Jenkins and similar CI/CD tools.
• Message Queues: Experience with rabbitMQ/SQS/Kafka.
