Role and Duties
- Proposing and implementing advanced cloud architectures, in continuous alignment with key cloud providers, such as AWS and Google
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure.
- Support the continuous evolution of client's infrastructure as code approach, ensuring advanced levels of automation throughout the lifecycle of all workloads.
- Ensuring there are no single points of failure in the infrastructure.
- Continuously improving efficiency when setting up new cloud infrastructure and maintaining existing instances, ensuring automation, resilience, and security.
Technical SkillSet
- At least 6 plus years of experience with Docker and Linux systems management.
- Proven experience in Kubernetes
- Experience with Git, GitHub, BitBucket or Stash
- Experience with CI and CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo or similar)
- Solid Experience with at least a programming/scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash, GO, Java, Node.js, PHP)
- Experience with application and system monitoring tools (such as Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, ElasticSearch, Kibana)
- Experience in the configuration, management, and troubleshooting of web servers (Apache, NGINX), database systems (SQL and Non SQL), caching (Cassandra, Redis, Memcache, or others) and queues (RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ or similar)
- Experience working as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer in an agile and fast-paced environment
- Experience in a continuous integration/deployment environment
