Role Summary

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team in Thane. In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling the infrastructure that powers Netcore's high-performance customer engagement platform.

You will work closely with engineering teams to improve deployment processes, optimize system reliability, automate operations, and support globally distributed cloud infrastructure. This role offers an opportunity to work on large-scale systems handling millions of transactions per minute while leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and observability platforms.

Must-Have Skills

• 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS and hybrid environments.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Spinnaker.
• Experience with configuration management and deployment automation tools like Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, and container orchestration.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Shell, Groovy, YAML, and JSON.
• Strong understanding of Linux systems administration.
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, and enterprise Git workflows.
• Working knowledge of networking concepts and infrastructure fundamentals.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and drive operational improvements.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Background in software development with exposure to DevOps practices, or vice versa.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, Cassandra, and database administration activities.
• Experience implementing Service Discovery and Service Mesh solutions using Istio.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Maven, Gradle, NPM, or similar ecosystems.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification.
