Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Lead to oversee and manage our development, deployment, and infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will lead a team to ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of our systems while fostering a culture of automation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and delivery pipelines for seamless deployments.

Infrastructure Automation: Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Monitoring & Alerting: Implement and manage robust monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

Cloud Management: Optimize and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Security Compliance: Ensure infrastructure meets security, compliance, and audit standards.

Collaboration: Work closely with development and QA teams to integrate DevOps practices into the SDLC.

Performance Optimization: Identify and address bottlenecks in the infrastructure and application environments.

Disaster Recovery: Develop and manage backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or related roles.

Expertise in managing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.

Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).

Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK, Datadog, etc.).

Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems.

Knowledge of security best practices and tools.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with serverless architectures.

Knowledge of database management and optimization (SQL, NoSQL).

Certification in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes is a plus.

Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
