Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Key Responsibilities:- Design, manage, and maintain multi-region on-premise infrastructure with a focus on high availability, performance, and scalability.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and other open-source tools.
- Develop, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) to support fast and reliable deployments across environments.
- Monitor infrastructure and application health using Prometheus, Grafana, and log aggregation tools.
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery solutions, including backup and failover strategies.
- Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and auditing aligned with government regulations and best practices.
- Manage core networking services including DNS, load balancing (HAProxy/PowerDNS), and traffic routing.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to improve automation and operational efficiency across all services.
- Develop and maintain scripts/tools in Bash, Python, or Go for automating routine tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
- Deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Strong expertise in Linux server administration, system performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
- Familiarity with secret management and security tools like HashiCorp Vault.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, DNS, and load balancing using HAProxy/PowerDNS.
- Proficiency in Bash, Python, or Go for scripting and automation.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience managing large-scale, on-premise infrastructures in production environments.
- Knowledge of high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and fault-tolerant system designs.
- Familiarity with security/compliance standards for government or regulated environments (e.g., audits, logging, access control).
Remuneration
- The remuneration offered will be in the range of 13-15 LPA depending on the candidate's experience, skill set, and evaluation based on our internal parameters
