Responsibilities
- Understanding Project requirements and OKRs.
- Specify, manage, automate, and monitor the software build environment standard & processes.
- Architecting, designing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Security - Ensure that the highly sensitive data from our customers is always secure.
- Build automation for common operational tasks such as Provisioning of servers, network, storage, etc.
- Instrument applications for performance baselines and to aid rapid diagnostics and resolution in case of system issues.
- Automate provisioning and integration tasks as required to deploy new code.
- Operates effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, collaborative and iterative programming environment.
Requirements
- 3 to 8 years of work experience.
- In-depth understanding and experience working with the AWS Cloud Platform.
- Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and a constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline).
- Come with hands-on experience in web application infrastructure technologies like Linux (RHEL, CentOS), MySQL, Apache, Nginx, Kafka, Redis, etc.
- Working experience in Jenkins pipeline and Groovy scripting.
- Proficiency with Gitlab or Github.
- Experience with one or more of the following Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, RDS.
- Experience with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Ansible and Chef.
- Maintain and establish a high standard of code quality and testing rigour through best practices and frequent Knowledge Transfer.
- Good knowledge of installation and administration of Linux systems.
- Strong scripting skills like Shell, Ruby, Python, etc.
- Comes with a passion for automation.
- Comfortable with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders.
- Being able to work under pressure and solve problems using an analytical approach, be decisive, fast-moving, and have a positive attitude.
