DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and passionate DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our modern web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, and a strong background in .NET, Node.js, and web application development. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing build and release pipelines, creating custom application environments, spreading DevOps culture, ensuring the seamless integration of our applications with various platforms and more.

Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Design, build and maintain efficient build, release, and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain tools for automating our build, test, and deployment processes.
• Manage Azure-hosted and Docker-based environments; ensure the stable operation of our containerized applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the product development team to define, implement, and document development, test, and production environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with our build, release, and deployment processes.
• Implement and enforce security best practices in all aspects of the software development and deployment lifecycle.
• Continuously improve the development and deployment processes using new tools and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience of minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience as as a DevOps Engineer, DevOps Developer, Software Developer, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, .NET, and Node.js.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with cloud services, web applications, and containerization.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaaC) tools such as Azure Templates, Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus or ELK.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, for ex: Agil development framework like SCRUM.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
