The DevOps Engineer will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerized applications, and infrastructure automation solutions. The role requires advanced technical expertise in DevOps tools and scripting, infrastructure as code (Terraform), monitoring systems, and cloud optimization, with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and management of CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and release processes.
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Oversee containerization and orchestration efforts using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Manage and deploy Java-based applications in production environments.
- Implement system monitoring and alerting to ensure high system availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and SecOps teams to establish seamless workflows.
- Drive automation of manual processes to increase engineering productivity.
- Optimize cloud resource usage to reduce operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with internal security and regulatory standards.
- Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve DevOps practices.
Required Skills:
- Proficient with Git and CLI-based version control workflows.
- Proficient in scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell) and YAML.
- Programming experience in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#.
- Strong expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Deep understanding of CI/CD tools (Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Proficient with Docker and container orchestration via Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Basic DBA skills are a plus, though not required.
- Familiarity with Azure Boards, Jira, or GitLab Issues for work management.
