Role Purpose
As a DevOps Engineer IV, you are expected to be strong in both the Dev and Ops aspects of DevOps. This role requires a deep understanding of systems architecture and core computer science concepts, with the ability to reason about system behavior rather than relying solely on specific toolsets.

The position emphasizes improving engineering productivity by building and maintaining a scalable, secure, and resilient CI/CD ecosystem. You will also mentor junior engineers and drive cross-team technical initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, manage, and administer web services in public cloud environments
- Design and implement secure, highly available, performant, and scalable systems
- Build, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and platforms
- Own operational excellence, including automation, monitoring, alerting, reliability, and performance
- Identify and implement solutions to operational challenges with direct business impact
- Lead incident response, resolution, and post-incident communication for production issues
- Drive and deliver complex technical projects end to end
- Collaborate effectively with global engineering and business stakeholders
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 8+ years of professional DevOps / Infrastructure experience, with 5+ years on AWS
- Strong fundamentals in operating systems, networking, distributed systems, and system design
- Proven experience leading critical DevOps or platform initiatives
- Hands-on expertise with AWS services and container orchestration (ECS, EKS)
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and GitHub Actions
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash)
- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Packer)
- Strong containerization experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with artifact management solutions (CodeArtifact, GitHub Packages, Artifactory)
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and cloud security fundamentals (IAM, least privilege, auditing)
- Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Broad exposure to cloud-native applications, databases, proxies, and orchestration platforms
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities
