DevOps Engineer

Insight Global are seeking a DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer for a leading global consulting and technology organisation.

This position requires fully remote working in India, for a contract through end of year. Candidates must be able to provide overlap with UK working hours.

The successful candidate will take ownership of cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment processes while helping drive architecture decisions and engineering best practices across multiple projects. This role requires a highly autonomous engineer who can independently scope, plan, and deliver complex technical initiatives while working closely with product and business stakeholders.

Must-Have Requirements Include:

• Strong experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
• Strong containerisation experience using Docker and Kubernetes
• Ability to manage scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure environments
• Experience leading technical architecture decisions and establishing engineering best practices
• Proven ability to independently plan and deliver complex technical projects
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams

Plusses Include:

• Experience designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions into production environments
• Strong Python development experience
• Experience building and integrating APIs and services that expose AI capabilities
• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), machine learning workflows, and data pipelines
• Experience developing agent-based systems using LangGraph or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with Claude Code and skill-based agentic systems
• Full-stack development experience
• Backend development with Python, Node.js, or similar technologies
• Frontend development experience with React, Next.js, or similar frameworks
• Experience integrating frontend, backend, AI, and data platform components into end-to-end solutions
