DevOps Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Service Desk (CSD) team, supporting business-critical applications and cloud platforms across AWS and Azure environments. This role combines DevOps engineering with operational support, acting as a key link between Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure and IT Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and manage AWS (ECS, EKS, EC2, S3, CloudFront) and Azure cloud environments.
• Provide operational support for Microsoft (.NET) and Java applications across Windows and Linux platforms.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, application and deployment issues.
• Manage IAM access, security policies and cloud platform configurations.
• Support CI/CD deployments, release activities and platform upgrades.
• Act as an escalation point for cloud and application incidents.
• Participate in incident, change, problem and release management processes.
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks and service desk knowledge articles.
• Drive automation, service improvements and platform reliability initiatives.

Skills & Experience:

• 3-5 year's experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, SRE or Cloud Operations.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud services.
• Experience supporting Windows and Linux environments.
• Knowledge of .NET and Java application stacks.
• Experience with API gateways, IIS, Nginx, Apache or application servers.
• Understanding of IAM, cloud security and access management.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep).
• AWS and/or Azure certifications.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management.

Role Requirements:

• Flexibility for 24-hour shift work or out-of-hours support where required.
• The hybrid work model applies to this role which requires to come to the office whenever needed. You will be expected to perform in a flexible environment but ensuring delivery.
• Ability to support production cloud-native platforms and participate in incident, change and release activities as required.
