Role Description

This is a contract role for a DevOps Engineer, located in Bengaluru with hybrid work arrangements. We are looking for a highly skilled CI/CD Engineer / DevOps Engineer who can administer, maintain, and enhance enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines and associated tools. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in modern DevOps practices, hands-on experience with multiple programming languages and build tools, and a passion for enabling developers to deliver high-quality software efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, Ansible, and OpenShift.
  • Manage builds and deployments for applications written in Java, Node.js, and Python (nice to have: .NET and Go).
  • Work with build and package management tools like Maven, Gradle, npm, Yarn, and pip.
  • Configure and integrate scan tools (e.g., Nexus IQ, SonarQube / Checkmarx, Prisma).
  • Support functional, API, and performance test automation within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Administer and support Git and GitHub Enterprise, including workflows and reusable workflows.
  • Write and maintain custom GitHub Actions and reusable workflows to standardize automation practices.
  • Collaborate with developers to onboard applications onto CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployments through production.
Qualifications
  • Strong experience in CI/CD pipeline administration and DevOps engineering.
  • Hands-on expertise with Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, Ansible, OpenShift.
  • Proficiency in managing builds and deployments for Java, Node.js, Python applications (plus: .NET & Go).
  • Deep knowledge of build and package managers (Maven, Gradle, npm, Yarn, pip).
  • Familiarity with code scanning tools (Nexus IQ, SonarQube / Checkmarx, Prisma).
  • Experience with test automation tools (functional, API, performance).
  • Strong expertise with Git & GitHub Enterprise, custom GitHub Actions, and reusable workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams.
