The Role
We're looking for experienced DevOps Engineers who can own critical infrastructure, drive reliability at scale, and build automation that powers thousands of businesses. You'll design and implement robust deployment pipelines, optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost, and establish best practices for observability and security while mentoring junior engineers.
What You'll Work On
- Own and architect cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines across environments
- Build and maintain highly available, auto-scaling infrastructure handling millions of requests
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/CloudFormation
- Lead technical decisions on infrastructure architecture, security, and reliability
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions
- Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization at scale
- Build robust CI/CD pipelines for microservices and backend systems
- Manage incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortems
- Implement security best practices, compliance controls, and disaster recovery
- Collaborate with backend, frontend, and AI teams to ensure seamless deployments
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and drive infrastructure standards
What We're Looking For
Must Have
- 2-5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles
- Strong expertise with AWS cloud services (ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda, ALB/NLB, CloudWatch, Route53, WAF etc.)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, OpenTofu etc.)
- Deep understanding of container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS) and runtime
- Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI etc.)
- Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration and shell scripting
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Sentry)
- Understanding of networking concepts (VPC, DNS, load balancing, CDN)
- Ability to lead infrastructure projects end-to-end and make architectural decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience with incident management
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and establishing DevOps best practices
Nice To Have
- Experience with AWS ECS, Fargate, and Application Load Balancers
- Knowledge of multi-region deployments and disaster recovery strategies
- Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) and API gateways
- Understanding of database administration (PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB)
- Experience with secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault)
- Knowledge of security scanning, compliance automation, and audit logging
- Experience with log aggregation and distributed tracing (ELK, Loki, Jaeger)
- Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools (ArgoCD, Flux)
- Experience with cost optimization tools and FinOps practices
- Background in performance testing and chaos engineering
- Open source contributions / technical writing / infrastructure side projects
