DevOps Engineer II to help us automate, scale, and secure our cloud infrastructure while empowering our engineering teams to deliver features rapidly and reliably.
The Role
As a DevOps Engineer II, you will be a core contributor to our platform engineering team. You will design, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance—critical factors in the financial sector. You will champion the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) mindset and work closely with backend developers to streamline our CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and maintain highly available and secure cloud architecture on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Infrastructure as Code: Automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure using Terraform.
- Container Orchestration: Deploy, manage, and scale containerized microservices using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or AKS).
- CI/CD Pipelines: Build and optimize continuous integration and deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
- Monitoring & Observability: Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog) to ensure system health and minimize downtime.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce cloud security best practices, manage IAM roles, and ensure infrastructure complies with fintech industry standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOC2).
- Incident Response: Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 3+ years of proven, hands-on experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Cloud Engineering role (fintech background is a huge plus).
- Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- IaC & Automation: Strong proficiency in writing and managing infrastructure using Terraform.
- Containers: Production experience running and operating Kubernetes clusters and Docker environments.
- Scripting: Solid scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automating routine tasks.
- Networking: Good grasp of cloud networking concepts (VPC, Subnets, DNS, Load Balancing, VPNs).
- Mindset: A security-first approach to infrastructure and a collaborative attitude toward helping developers succeed.
