About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Lead to oversee and enhance our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS and Azure), Linux administration, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and observability, and application support, coupled with solid programming and scripting expertise. You will lead a team of DevOps engineers and collaborate closely with software development, QA, and IT teams to ensure smooth, reliable, and scalable delivery processes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Lead and manage the DevOps team to implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS and Azure).
  • Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based environments.
  • Develop monitoring and alerting systems using modern observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
  • Automate infrastructure and application deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
  • Write and maintain scripts in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages for automation and system management.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of critical applications and services.
  • Provide application support and incident management, including root cause analysis and preventive actions.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and systems administration.
  • Proven expertise in AWS and Azure cloud environments.
  • Strong experience with Linux system administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience with monitoring and observability platforms (e.g., ELK Stack, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog).
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, Shell, or Go.
  • Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
