DevOps Engineer

Job Title - Lead Devops Role v

This role is ideal for professionals who can take charge of the DevOps lifecycle, lead initiatives, and contribute as a hands-on technical expert. You will work closely with development teams to ensure robust CI/CD pipelines, stable deployments, and end-to-end observability in a cloud-native Kubernetes environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage DevOps activities, while also contributing as an individual contributor.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines (primarily using Jenkins).
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes-based deployments across multiple environments.
• Implement and maintain observability frameworks (logging, monitoring, tracing).
• Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline build, integration, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and runtime issues across dev, staging, and production environments.
• Ensure infrastructure as code (laC) practices are followed (e.g., using Helm, Terraform, or similar tools).
• Drive automation, reliability, and performance improvements across the DevOps toolchain.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, with solid hands-on exposure to Kubernetes (K8s).
• Strong experience in CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins.
• Good understanding of observability tools and frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Jaeger, etc.).
• Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and automation tools.
• Experience in deploying and managing microservices in containerized environments.
• Ability to lead small teams, mentor junior engineers, and drive DevOps best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools
