We are looking for someone who can parse through a set of requirements, vague or clear, and ask the right questions, propose approaches along with supporting reasoning or entertain other approaches from the rest of the team, deem their feasibility, and then work on implementing by writing code, creating documentation, managing the release, and instituting a support methodology.
Responsibilities
- Document your work extensively.
- Can set up a CI/CD pipeline from the ground up.
- Is proficient with monitoring and alerting stacks and can implement them.
- Understands observability and can implement a scalable observability system.
- Create an auditable infrastructure.
- Implement an artefact repository to support an extensive list of business and technical use cases.
- Create a job queue for infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
- Create an incident response framework that auto routes alerts, accommodates various SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs, generates reports, and enables searching through published incident post mortems.
- Interact with the team at large to assist with audit activities.
Requirements
- 3-9 years of Experience in DevOps with solid experience in programming.
- Experience in building infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using AWS, Terraform, Salt, Jenkins, or any other standard tools.
- Knowledge of Linux and familiarity with command-line tools, bash scripting, and Python scripting.
- Prior experience managing a database in a reliable manner with auto-failover.
- Ability to deal with complex problems without getting overwhelmed.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with unstructured requirements.
