Job Summary: We are seeking a experienced DevOps Engineer who excels in presales, project delivery, and leadership. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in the latest tools and practices related to Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD), DevOps, containerization, cloud providers, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). This role involves architecting and implementing robust DevOps solutions, optimizing workflows, and ensuring high availability and reliability of applications through automation and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1.     Presales and Solutioning: Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to participate in presales activities. Assist in solution design, effort estimation, and presenting technical proposals to clients.

2.     CICD Implementation: Architect, implement, and maintain CICD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar, to automate software builds, testing, and deployment.

3.     DevOps Best Practices: Advocate for and implement best DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management, and version control, to ensure repeatability and reliability.

4.     Containerization: Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes to streamline application deployment and scalability.

5.     Cloud Providers: Work with various cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to deploy and manage cloud-based applications, leveraging cloud services and infrastructure.

6.     Site Reliability Engineering (SRE): Apply SRE principles to enhance the reliability and availability of systems, implement error budgeting, and drive proactive incident response.

7.     Infrastructure Automation: Implement infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform or Ansible to provision and manage cloud resources and on-premises infrastructure.

8.     Monitoring and Logging: Set up monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack) to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.

9.     Security Best Practices: Incorporate security best practices into DevOps processes, including vulnerability scanning (SAST/DAST), access control(IAM), and compliance automation.

10. Scripting and Automation: Write scripts and automation code (e.g., Python, Bash) to simplify repetitive tasks and optimize processes.

11. High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies for critical applications and services.

12. Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in applications and infrastructure through profiling, load testing, and optimization techniques.

13. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including infrastructure diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

14. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and security professionals, to ensure alignment and success.

15. Training and Mentoring: Provide training and mentorship to junior DevOps team members, promoting skill development and knowledge sharing.

16. Good to have knowledge on MLOps, LLMs, Amazon Q, Copilot, etc.,

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

·        Extensive experience in DevOps and CICD, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.

·        Proficiency in CICD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI) and DevOps practices.

·        Deep knowledge of containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).

·        Familiarity with multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their services.

·        Experience with SRE principles and error budgeting.

·        Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash).

·        Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.

·        Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack).

·        Understanding of security best practices and compliance automation.

·        Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

·        Leadership and project management experience.

·        Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
