Job Summary: We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and automating cloud infrastructure using AWS, along with experience in continuous integration and deployment using Jenkins and npm. Proficiency with Linux systems is essential. This role involves collaborating with development teams to streamline deployment processes and ensure the reliability and scalability of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins / aws pipeline
• Manage and configure AWS infrastructure to support scalable and secure applications.
• Automate provisioning and deployment processes using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Utilize npm for managing and automating JavaScript dependencies and packages.
• Perform system administration tasks on Linux servers, particularly Ubuntu.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
• Implement security best practices to protect cloud resources and applications.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
• Optimize costs of cloud infrastructure services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
• Proficiency with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline management.
• Experience with npm for managing JavaScript dependencies.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Proficiency with Linux systems, particularly Ubuntu.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of networking, security, and database management in AWS.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.
