As an Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining enterprise-grade automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Java, TestNG, Cucumber (BDD), and Page Object Model (POM) design principles.

You will build, configure, and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines that support automated smoke, regression, accessibility, API, and cross-browser testing. You will work closely with development teams, product owners, architects, and stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.

A key responsibility of this role is leveraging GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted engineering practices to accelerate test automation development, improve framework maintainability, enhance code quality, and increase engineering productivity.

You will contribute to Playwright-based automation across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit browsers, develop API automation solutions using REST and SOAP technologies, and support testing activities across multiple environments.

In addition, you will drive innovation through AI-powered testing initiatives including self-healing automation, intelligent test generation, risk-based testing approaches, test optimization, and data-driven quality improvement practices.

You will collaborate within Agile and DevOps teams while continuously improving automation effectiveness, framework stability, reporting accuracy, and overall software quality.

As an Automation Test Engineer, having strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Java, TestNG, and Cucumber is a huge plus. Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, GitHub repositories, and GitHub Copilot will also be an integral part of this role.

You are a technology enthusiast with a strong understanding of test automation architecture, CI/CD practices, API testing, Agile delivery methodologies, and AI-assisted quality engineering techniques.

Working in a multinational environment, you can expect collaboration with teams around the globe. Therefore, advanced spoken and written English communication skills will be certainly useful.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of automation testing experience.
• Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG, Cucumber, and Hybrid Frameworks.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework using Java or TypeScript.
• Experience creating and managing GitHub Actions workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with GitHub repositories, pull requests, branching strategies, and code review practices.
• Experience utilizing GitHub Copilot to accelerate script development and maintenance.
• Experience in API testing usin g REST, SOAP, Postman, JSON, and XML.
• Knowledge of accessibility testing, cross-browser testing, and responsive testing.
• Exposure to AI-powered testing tools and intelligent automation practices.
• Good understanding of Agile, DevOps, and Shift-Left testing principles.
• Knowledge of logistics, shipping, and supply chain processes is considered an advantage.

AI Capabilities

• Utilize GitHub Copilot for automated code suggestions, test generation, and productivity improvements.
• Apply AI-assisted approaches for automation maintenance, locator optimization, and framework modernization.
• Evaluate AI-based testing solutions for intelligent test design, risk-based testing, and defect prediction.
