Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled DevOps Engineer to automate and streamline our development, testing, and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will focus on building reliable CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure as code, and ensuring system scalability, performance, and security. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to enhance release cycles and maintain highly available systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Manage infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance, application health, and infrastructure metrics.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain Linux/Unix-based servers and environments.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve DevOps processes and workflows.
- Document system configurations, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems administration.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python).
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related roles.
