Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments
Collaborate with development and operations teams to enable scalable and reliable deployments
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and stability of production systems
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
Implement infrastructure as code using automation tools
Ensure deployments adhere to security, compliance, and best practices
Automate routine operational tasks to reduce manual effort
Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure and operational processes
Provide Level 2 technical support and resolve escalated issues
Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical upskilling
Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency

Mandatory Skills

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby
Hands-on experience managing Linux-based systems
Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Understanding of system reliability, availability, and performance monitoring
Knowledge of secure system design and compliance requirements

Desirable Skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience with process automation and tool implementation
Familiarity with multi-tier architectures including load balancers, application servers, and databases
Experience with proactive system monitoring and alerting
Exposure to operational best practices in large-scale or distributed systems
