Role Summary

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (L1) with strong hands-on experience in AWS and modern cloud-native infrastructure. If you enjoy building scalable systems, automating deployments, and working with Kubernetes & CI/CD pipelines, this role is for you

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of cloud infrastructure (AWS ): instance lifecycle, networking, IAM, and cost-awareness.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar).
• Deploy application updates to staging and production under guidance; ensure release checklist compliance.
• Implement and tune monitoring, logging, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, CloudWatch).
• Respond to on-call rotations and incidents; perform root-cause analysis and document postmortems.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting (Bash, Python) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Manage containerization and orchestration basics (Docker, Kubernetes) for development and staging environments.
• Assist with backup, recovery, and day-to-day security tasks (patching, account hygiene).
• Document runbooks, playbooks, and environment diagrams; maintain accurate runbooks for handovers.
• Collaborate with dev teams to improve reliability, reduce deployment friction, and adopt best practices.

Must-have Qualifications

• Experience in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or related role.
• Practical experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS preferred).
• Familiarity with Linux system administration and networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools and basic scripting (Bash, Python, or similar).
• Understanding of containers (Docker) and basic Kubernetes concepts.
• Experience with logging/monitoring tools or willingness to learn quickly.
