Job Title: DevOps Engineer (Azure, OpenShift, CI/CD)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, OpenShift, and CI/CD pipeline development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Kubernetes orchestration, Jenkins, Maven, and Helm charts to streamline and automate software delivery processes, ensuring high availability and scalability of applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain OpenShift clusters for containerized applications.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Utilize Maven for project build management and dependency handling.
- Create and manage Helm charts for Kubernetes application deployment and version control.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in CI/CD pipelines and container environments.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to facilitate continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
- Implement best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC), automation, and configuration management.
- Optimize application performance, security, and cost efficiency within Azure and OpenShift environments.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps, cloud computing, and container orchestration.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role with a focus on Azure cloud platform.
- Hands-on experience with RedHat OpenShift and Kubernetes administration.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD tooling, especially Jenkins and Maven.
- Proficient in creating and managing Helm charts for Kubernetes application deployment.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python is a plus.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., ARM templates, Terraform) is advantageous.
- Experience with monitoring tools and logging systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a bonus.
