We are hiring for one of our clients

DevOps Engineer (AWS | Kubernetes | Terraform)

Location: Gurugram, Haryana (Full-time, Work from office)

Experience: 6–8 years

Company: Confidential — a leading destination management company, building an in-house tech product

About the Company

Our client is a leading destination management company headquartered in Gurugram. With a multi-decade legacy, an extensive network of offices across India and internationally, and the backing of a large, globally respected enterprise group, the company is among the most awarded players in its industry. It is now building its own in-house tech product and investing in the engineering team to power it.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with 6–8 years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure. You'll bring strong expertise across AWS, CI/CD automation, containerization, Infrastructure as Code, and monitoring — enabling seamless software delivery and operational excellence for a growing in-house product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, and deployment.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or Splunk.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to streamline release management and improve deployment efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices across infrastructure and application environments.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage configuration, version control, and automation using Git and related DevOps tools.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 6–8 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
  • Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Bitbucket.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Shell/Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform.
  • Experience in Linux system administration and networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
  • Understanding of security, compliance, and cloud governance practices.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Good-to-Have (Preferred) Skills

These are preferred, not mandatory — strong candidates without every item are encouraged to apply.

  • Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and API management.
  • Exposure to DevSecOps practices and security automation.
  • Knowledge of database administration and performance tuning.
  • Cloud-native architecture, Kubernetes administration, and enterprise-scale CI/CD implementation experience will be strongly preferred.

Beyond the Stack

We value problem-solving and analytical thinking, strong stakeholder management, collaboration and teamwork, a continuous-learning mindset, and excellent communication and documentation skills.

Why Join

  • Be part of a market-leading, financially stable organization with decades of proven success.
  • Build and own the platform behind an in-house tech product — deep ownership and direct impact, end to end.
  • Inclusive, collaborative culture with mentorship, structured learning, and clear career-growth paths.
  • Strong emphasis on work-life balance and a supportive, team-first environment.
