Description
Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with 7+ years of professional experience, including hands-on expertise with AWS CDK using TypeScript, to help modernize infrastructure, ensure performance, and maintain security for cloud-hosted applications.
This is a remote role requiring the ability to work independently, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain AWS infrastructure using AWS CDK in TypeScript.
- Migrate legacy infrastructure to modern, scalable AWS solutions.
- Ensure the stability, performance, and security of cloud-hosted applications.
- Work autonomously and take full ownership of assigned tasks.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior DevOps engineers.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders using strong English communication skills.
- Contribute to project planning, tracking, and reporting activities.
Experience Required
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Proven track record of designing and maintaining production-grade AWS infrastructure.
- Extensive experience working in remote and collaborative environments.
Mandatory Skills & Technologies
Candidates must have all of the following :
- AWS CDK using TypeScript (Mandatory).
- Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript (Mandatory).
- Experience with ECS (Fargate) and Docker (Mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of AWS RDS (Aurora, MySQL, PostgreSQL), including backups, replication, and high availability (Mandatory).
