About The Role
Looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and take ownership of server and
infrastructure management. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Linux server
administration, CI/CD pipelines, load balancing, monitoring, automation, and resource
optimization.
What you will be doing
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and optimize our dedicated server environment.
- Set up and maintain load balancing, failover, and scaling strategies to ensure high availability.
- Implement resource management, monitoring tools, and alert systems for proactive issue
- detection.
- Automate deployments, server provisioning, and application scaling.
- Ensure system security, backup policies, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with developers to improve CI/CD pipelines and streamline deployment
- workflows.
- Optimize application performance and infrastructure costs.
- Troubleshoot server-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Install, setup and manage in-house version control system
Skill Set required
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, System Administrator, or Infrastructure Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration.
- Hands-on experience with web/application servers (Apache, Nginx, etc.).
- Knowledge of load balancing (HAProxy, Nginx, or similar).
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, etc.).
- Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, or similar).
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Shell.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization (Kubernetes is a plus).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for future migration/scalability.
- Database administration knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Knowledge of infrastructure cost optimization strategies.
