Devops Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to manage and automate cloud-based infrastructure, support development teams with CI/CD pipelines, and ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Cloud & Infrastructure Management:

• Setup and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on AWS.
• Monitor and tune server performance, web hosting setups, and clustering.

Monitoring & Automation:

• Setup and maintain system-monitoring tools such as Nagios, Monit, Munin, Graphite, and application monitoring tools like New Relic or AppDynamics.
• Proactively identify areas for automation in release and support processes and implement solutions.
• Lead efforts to design and build automation in application deployment, configuration management, and release operations.

CI/CD & Environment Support:

• Support engineering teams with CI/Build tools, environment setups, and automation.
• Help development teams automate environment setup using tools like Bitbucket and Jira.
• Manage the full stack in collaboration with development teams, including release cycles and data security.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing:

• Standardize build and deployment processes and tools across systems.
• Share knowledge on automation tools with team members to enhance skills and efficiency.
• Provide application infrastructure support as needed.

Version Control & Troubleshooting:

• Handle branching, tagging, and merging of code for required releases.
• Troubleshoot system issues and support smooth operation of production systems.
