DevOps Engineer

Years of Experience: 5-8 years

Responsibilities: 

•   Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various projects.

•   Collaborate with software development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.

•   Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability and performance.

•   Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

•   Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.

•   Work with geospatial data and tools like MapBox to support application development.

Technical Skills:

•   Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.

•   Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

•   Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible

•   Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools.

•   Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

•   Knowledge of Agile and SAFe methodologies.

•   Experience in supporting DevOps for SQL databases, including PostgreSQL, SQL, MySQL, and Cassandra.

•   Experience with Big Data technologies.

•   Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js and Nuxt.js

Education & Certifications:

•   Bachelor's degree or master's Degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field

•   5+ years of experience in Devops.

•   Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

•   Strong understanding of software development methodologies, programming languages, and software 

architecture

•   Experience with Agile development methodologies

•   Familiarity with telecommunications industry technologies.

What will your job look like

•   You will create database and database objects like schema, tables, partitions, views, triggers, functions, and procedures.

•   You will Investigate, debug, and reproduce issues, provide fixes and workarounds, and verify changes to ensure continued operability of the database architecture.

•   You will have the ownership and accountability of open source environment and provide technical support and guidance in problem resolution for complex queries.

•   You will bring continuous improvements/efficiencies to an open source environment by utilizing Software Engineering tools, various innovations and techniques and the reuse of existing solutions.

•   You will be developing new database modules/tools or implementing enhancements in existing applications.
