DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and monitor production infrastructure and services (Linux, AWS, etc.)
• Manage CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
• Automate infrastructure with tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar
• Ensure timely resolution of incidents and root cause analysis
• Implement and monitor system performance metrics and alerts (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
• Perform regular system upgrades, patching, and backups
• Work in rotational shifts to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
• Participate in infrastructure capacity planning and cost optimization.
• Follow best practices for security, high availability, and disaster recovery.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or System Administration roles.

Skills and Experience:

• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Working knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Experience in writing shell/Python scripts for automation.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Exposure to monitoring/logging tools like ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
• Basic understanding of network concepts (DNS, Load Balancer, VPN, etc.)
• Ability to work in rotational shifts including weekends and night shifts.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
