What you'll do on a typical day:
- Creating suitable DevOps channels
- Designing efficient and comprehensive best practices
- Introduce new industry standards and techniques that deliver improved software solutions
- Evaluate new technologies for inclusion in developed software solutions
- Experience and good knowledge and understanding of Kafka, Couchbase, and ELK stack
- Participate in the review and analyses of business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents; participate in project post-mortem facilitation
- Provide input on information technology tools, application upgrades and architectural design
- Implement and improve monitoring and alerting and performance-based debugging solutions.
- Build and maintain highly available systems and Container Orchestration on Kubernetes and Docker
- Support software infrastructure by identifying and diagnosing software failures
What you need to succeed at RXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps in a CI/CD environment
- Proficient in building and maintaining toolchains
- Experience with any One of Cloud platform AWS/Azure/GCP preferably GCP/VMware.
It d be great if you also have:
- Significant version control experience (Git preferred)
- Significant experience with Teamcity and Octopus
- Experience in build and release engineering through complete mobile, web, and backend infrastructure product cycles
- Experience with GCP, VMware, or similar virtualization technologies
