DevOps Engineer

Role: DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Experience: 5-10 years

Location: Brazil (Client Location)

Working Mode: Hybrid (2 days work from office)

Notice Period: Upto 15 days

This role is open to Indian nationals who are willing to travel to Brazil for a deputation at the client's location.

Core Responsibilities

• CI/CD Automation: Design, build, and maintain robust automation pipelines for SAP BTP applications using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or SAP Project Piper.
• Landscape Management: Administer multi-tenant setups, subaccounts, and spaces across Cloud Foundry and Kyma (Kubernetes) environments.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use Terraform or Ansible to provision, configure, and scale SAP BTP services and cloud infrastructure efficiently.
• Security & Compliance: Manage platform security, including XSUAA configurations, destination services, certificate rotation, secret management, and vulnerability scanning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Required Skills

• 5+ years of dedicated experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role, with at least 2 years focused specifically on SAP BTP.
• Platform Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of SAP BTP services, including Multi-Target Applications (MTA configuration via mta.yaml), SAP Connectivity Service, and Cloud Connector.
• Containerization: Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes/Cloud Foundry, or SAP BTP Kyma runtime.
• Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Node.js for automation tasks.
• Version Control: Mastery of Git-based workflows, branching strategies, and repository management.

Preferred Skills

• Official certification such as SAP Certified Associate - Integration Associate or SAP Certified Associate - DevOps Engineer.
• Experience integration architectures connecting SAP BTP with SAP S/4HANA (public cloud/Private cloud/on-premises ).
• Familiarity with hyperscaler clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP) hosting SAP workloads.
