DevOps Consultant

Responsibilities :

A day in the life of an Infoscion

Translate the customer requirement to DevOps use-cases

Assess the current stage, define and implement Operating model, people/process transformation and DevOps solution blueprint

Identify DevOps bottle necks in value stream and provide recommendations

Participate in RFPs, create PoCs/ Accelerators / IPs and evangelize

Design high level DevOps architecture, solutioning as per client requirements.

Drive meetings to gather technical and integration requirements w.r.t devops, derive and justify technical solution to client stakeholders

Should be able to understand and define architectural solution blueprint, design frameworks and methodologies used and create and implement appropriate DevOps solution.

Excellent communication and presentation skills to lead technical discussion.

Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipeline implementation

Experience working with development and IT teams to integrate and automate processes, enabling faster code deployments and improving overall system reliability.

Knowledge of security best practices across the DevOps processes and infrastructure including implementing secure access controls, encryption and monitoring.

Additional Responsibilities:

Excellent understanding of the activities and best practices in SDLC phases (branching, merging, quality checks, builds management and progression to various environments, externalization of configurations and its management)

Experience in one or more- of the cloud for its services and best practices is desired. Hands on experience in Building and Setting up the Infrastructure in Cloud ( AWS/GCP/Azure etc.

Configuration management, release management, deployment experience

Networking, load balancing, monitoring, log analysis and related tools etc.

Experience of working in heterogeneous technologies

Technical and Professional Requirements:

Continuous integration tools / Cloud services (Jenkins, Teamcity, Azure DevOps/ AWS CodeBuild / Google CloudBuild, GitlabCI, Bamboo, GitHub Actions etc.)

Continuous delivery/deployment (Argo CD, Go CD, Spinnaker, AWS CodeDeploy, Harness etc.)

Testing and coverage tools (JMeter/Jira/Selenium/UFT etc.)

Configuration management tools (Ansible, Salt etc.)

Infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM Template, CFN Template etc.) expertise

Application security tools across SAST, SCA, DAST

Application Performance Monitoring (AppDynamics, Dynatrace, NewRelic, Datadog, Nagios, Promethous, Grafana, AWS Cloudwatch, Azure Monitor etc.)

Working knowledge on container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS, GKE, etc.
