Role Overview
As a DevOps Architect/Consultant, you will be the visionary behind our software delivery ecosystem. You won't just manage pipelines; you will design the entire
Internal Developer Platform (IDP) that enables our engineering teams to deploy safely, at scale, and with zero friction. You will bridge the gap between high-level business goals and technical execution, ensuring our infrastructure is cost-optimized, secure by design (
DevSecOps), and resilient.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 15+ years of experience in DevOps and Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Architect.
- Demonstrated expertise in driving multi-phase cloud migrations, specifically specializing in AWS-native migration tools and frameworks
- Demonstrated expertise in creating and executing CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise with DevOps toolchains such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
- In-depth understanding of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- In depth Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies and associated instruments.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- AWS Migration
- Architectural Strategy: Design and implement scalable, multi-cloud, or hybrid-cloud architectures (AWS) using a Cloud Native first approach.
- Platform Engineering: Build and maintain an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) to provide self-service capabilities for developers, reducing cognitive load and accelerating Time-to-Market.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Standardize infrastructure using Terraform ensuring 100% of environment provisioning is automated and version-controlled.
- Modern CI/CD & GitOps: Lead the transition to GitOps workflows using Gitlab
- FinOps & Cost Governance: Implement automated cost-tracking and optimization strategies to ensure cloud spend aligns with business value.
- Security & Compliance: Integrate automated security scanning (SAST/DAST), secrets management (HashiCorp Vault), and compliance-as-code into the heart of the delivery flow.
Leadership & People Management
- Team Evolution: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of DevOps and Platform Engineers, defining career paths and performance standards.
- Strategic Resource Planning: Manage team capacity, budgets, and vendor relationships to ensure the platform roadmap aligns with organizational growth.
Preferred Certifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional / DevOps Engineer – Professional
- CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or CKS (Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist)
- HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Authoring & Operations Professional
