Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on programming experience with Python for automation, tooling, and system orchestration.
• Strong proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms, preferably Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Good understanding of Git, including branching, merging, pull requests, and workflows.
• Understanding of microservices and cloud-native application environments.

Cloud Skills

• Working knowledge of AWS services and cloud automation patterns.
• Understanding of AWS networking concepts, including:
  • VPC
  • Security Groups
  • DNS
  • Load Balancers
  • Basic networking and connectivity
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure provisioning and automation.

DevOps & Systems Skills

• Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, and HTTPS.
• Experience integrating monitoring and alerting into DevOps workflows.
• Experience with log analysis and operational troubleshooting.
• Understanding of deployment, release, and configuration management practices.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of AI-driven automation, predictive alerting, or AIOps.
• Familiarity with MLOps concepts.
• Experience with automated code analysis and quality tools.
• Exposure to SRE practices and reliability engineering.
• Experience with cloud security and DevSecOps practices.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Development, SRE, Platform, Infrastructure, and Operations teams.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to identify manual processes and proactively develop automation solutions.
• Good documentation and knowledge-sharing skills.
