The Role

As DevOps and SRE Engineer, you will build and operate Zillwork's Kubernetes infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring stack, and multi-region deployment. You own reliability. Downtime has a direct human cost on our platform that is not a metaphor.

What You Will Build and Own

- AWS EKS Kubernetes cluster: deployment design, auto-scaling, rolling updates

- Argo CD GitOps pipeline: every merge to main triggers automated staging then production deployment

- Terraform: all AWS infrastructure as code reproducible and version-controlled

- Prometheus and Grafana: metrics and dashboards across all services

- Jaeger: distributed tracing for latency debugging across microservices

- Horizontal Pod Autoscaler: scale API pods during demand peaks automatically

- PgBouncer: PostgreSQL connection pooling for 50K+ concurrent database connections

- Cloudflare WAF and CDN configuration

- Multi-region preparation: Mumbai primary, Singapore Phase 3

What We Are Looking For

- 5+ years DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering in production

- Kubernetes in production: deployment design, HPA, resource management

- Terraform for infrastructure as code

- Argo CD or similar GitOps tool

- Prometheus and Grafana monitoring stack

- AWS services: EKS, RDS, ElastiCache, MSK, ALB, S3

- On-call experience you have resolved production incidents outside business hours

Bonus: Istio service mesh, multi-region AWS deployment, PostgreSQL performance tuning, PgBouncer
