Role Description The Devisional Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Lakhimpur Kheri district. The role is responsible for overseeing branch operations within the division, ensuring portfolio quality, compliance with organizational policies, and achievement of business targets. Typical day-to-day activities include supervising field and branch teams, monitoring loan disbursement and collection processes, and ensuring adherence to credit and risk management guidelines. The Devisional Manager will analyze performance data, implement process improvements, and support expansion plans in alignment with organizational goals. The role also involves building relationships with local stakeholders, guiding staff training and development, and ensuring customer service standards are consistently met.
Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising field or branch operations in financial services or microfinance.
  • Proficiency in operational planning, target setting, and performance monitoring, with the ability to interpret financial and portfolio reports.
  • Knowledge of lending practices, credit assessment, and risk management, ideally within rural or semi-urban markets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging customers, staff, and local stakeholders.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on process improvement and compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Experience working in NBFC/MFI or related financial institutions, particularly in field-based or regional roles, is highly beneficial.
  • Comfort with using digital tools and technology platforms for reporting, monitoring, and customer service.
  • Ability to work on-site in the Lakhimpur Kheri district and travel within the division as required.
