Description
- Ensure to execute test cases prepared for testing Software builds on the mobile platform
- Perform daily quality checks as per established guidelines and report deviations accurately
- Understand and ramp up on testing procedures, guidelines and policies for new devices and apply the same in day-to-day work.
- Use software tools for validation, analysis and data capture on a daily basis
- Be comfortable with capturing results, communicating and escalating failures and providing status reports
Key job responsibilities
- Follow SOP/ predefined test cases and execute test cases prepared for testing Software builds on multiple platform
- Raise defects for all failures observed and track doubts related to the execution of test instructions through pre-defined mechanisms
- Responsible for security and maintenance of the company assets, accessories and devices allocated to perform daily operations
- Understand testing procedures, guidelines and policies for new devices and apply the same in day-to-day work.
- Use software tools for validation, analysis and data capture daily
- Capture and communicate test results, escalate failures. Deep Dive on defects identify rootcuase etc.
- Identify improvements that help project key metrics such as productivity, defect leakage, quality in work assignments, errors, mismatches etc.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of QA methodology and tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Good Communication
- Testing Knowledge
- Good Analytical Skill
- Experience of testing consumer devices will be a plus.
