Development Engineer - GAD

Key Responsibilities:

Application Support & Incident Management

• Provide L2 support for Java-based applications and troubleshoot incidents.
• Analyze logs, perform basic debugging, and triage issues.
• Monitor applications and batch processes, escalating issues as required.
• Support deployment activities under guidance from senior teams.
• Participate in shift-based and on-call support rotations (24/7).

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with onsite/offshore teams to ensure timely issue resolution within SLAs.
• Maintain and update documentation, issue logs, and runbooks.

Technical Troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot issues related to Java, Servlets, JDBC, PL/SQL, and Unix/Linux environments.
• Debug application issues using Java, Maven, REST APIs, and Microservices.
• Perform query tuning and scripting in Oracle 19c SQL/PL-SQL.
• Support deployments and monitor applications on IBM Liberty and Tomcat servers.
• Use Shell Scripting (C-shell/Bash) for automation and troubleshooting.
• Apply basic knowledge of C/C++ executables and frontend debugging (HTML, JavaScript).
