Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Application Support & Incident Management

Provide L2 support for Java-based applications and troubleshoot incidents.
Analyze logs, perform basic debugging, and triage issues.
Monitor applications and batch processes, escalating issues as required.
Support deployment activities under guidance from senior teams.
Participate in shift-based and on-call support rotations (24/7).

Collaboration & Documentation

Work closely with onsite/offshore teams to ensure timely issue resolution within SLAs.
Maintain and update documentation, issue logs, and runbooks.

Technical Troubleshooting

Troubleshoot issues related to Java, Servlets, JDBC, PL/SQL, and Unix/Linux environments.
Debug application issues using Java, Maven, REST APIs, and Microservices.
Perform query tuning and scripting in Oracle 19c SQL/PL-SQL.
Support deployments and monitor applications on IBM Liberty and Tomcat servers.
Use Shell Scripting (C-shell/Bash) for automation and troubleshooting.
Apply basic knowledge of C/C++ executables and frontend debugging (HTML, JavaScript).
