About The Role
We're looking for development economists to help shape how AI understands global and development economics. Your expertise will directly influence how next-generation AI systems reason about growth, inequality, poverty, and international policy — making a real impact on one of the most consequential applications of AI today.

- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Review and evaluate AI-generated development economics questions, answers, and explanations used in model training
- Assess the quality and accuracy of AI reasoning on topics such as economic growth, inequality, poverty reduction, and global development
- Provide clear, structured feedback to improve the factual accuracy and contextual nuance of AI outputs
- Apply your academic or real-world experience to validate complex economic scenarios and policy discussions
- Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments that fit your schedule
Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience researching or teaching development economics
- Strong command of global economic issues, data interpretation, and development theory
- Able to critically evaluate written economic reasoning and identify errors or gaps in logic
- Comfortable working independently within structured review frameworks
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
Nice to Have
- Graduate degree in Economics or a closely related field
- Experience in field research, NGO work, or international economic policy
- Familiarity with AI systems, content evaluation, or data annotation workflows
