Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Mentorship

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers.
• Review code, enforce coding standards, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Guide junior and mid-level developers on problem-solving and architectural decisions.

2. Mobile Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile apps using React Native.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for scalability.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness across iOS and Android platforms.

3. Database and API Integration

• Develop and maintain real-time and offline-first data models using MongoDB and MongoDB Realm.
• Optimize database queries and synchronization to improve app performance.
• Seamlessly integrate REST and GraphQL APIs and third-party services.

4. Architecture and Scalability

• Define and implement scalable and secure mobile application architecture.
• Drive best practices for performance optimization and application security.
• Lead CI/CD pipeline setup and manage automated deployment workflows.

5. Collaboration and Stakeholder Communication

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define scope and deliverables.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Actively participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

6. Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated on trends in mobile development, database technologies, and tooling.
• Research and recommend tools, frameworks, and best practices to boost productivity.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Languages: Expert-level JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Frameworks: Extensive experience with React and React Native.
• Database: Advanced knowledge of MongoDB and MongoDB Realm.
• Technologies: Redux, Context API, REST/GraphQL API integration, push notifications.
• Mobile DevOps: Familiar with deployment to the App Store and Google Play.

Leadership Experience

• Proven track record of mentoring and leading development teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to architect and scale applications.

General Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on mobile development experience.
• Solid understanding of mobile app lifecycle and performance best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
