Developer (Frontend & backend)

JOB DESCRIPTION :

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, etc using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, this candidate will be able to translate user and business needs into functional frontend design.

Skills :

- Python, SQL

- Experience with Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.

- Proven experience as a Python Developer with strong knowledge of SQL.

- Familiarity with Relational or NoSQL Databases.

- Experience in developing RESTful/GraphQL APIs and microservices based applications.

- Comfortable with software development best practices: Unit tests, code reviews, continuous integration, secure and clean code.

- Experience in a Linux development environment is a plus.

- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

Added advantage if :

- Contributions to open source repositories.

- Experience deploying applications to AWS, and familiarity with AWS environment and tools (EC2, Lambda, ESS, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3).

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies would be great.

- Knowledge of server/client interaction issues and solutions (e.g., Browser Internals, CORS, caching, GraphQL, RESTful APIs, AJAX, Web application performance optimization, security, etc.).

- Familiarity with Docker, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Node.js.

- Knowledge of Version Control Systems (Git, Bitbucket).

*Qualifications:*

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

- Minimum 6months of experience.

*Additional Details:*

- Proven experience as an IPTV Middleware Developer or similar role.

- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C/C++, or Python.

- In-depth knowledge of IPTV protocols and standards (e.g., HLS, MPEG-DASH, RTP/RTSP).

- Familiarity with IPTV service delivery architectures, including CDN, DRM, and conditional access systems.

- Experience with IPTV content management systems (CMS) and user interface (UI) development.

- Knowledge of video encoding/transcoding techniques and standards.

- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.

- Knowledge about Android TV, Tizen (Samsung Smart TV), and WebOS (LG Smart TV) includes understanding the platform architectures, development environments, web technologies for app development, SDKs/APIs, app deployment processes, optimization techniques, and integration of IPTV middleware services.
