JOB DESCRIPTION
We're looking for a curious and motivated Junior Developer to join our engineering team for key initiatives in the region. You'll contribute to building and maintaining software systems, learning from experienced developers, and growing your technical skills through hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean , maintainable code under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions.
- Assist in resolving bugs and implementing features.
- Contribute to technical documentation and internal knowledge sharing.
- Engage with agile development practices and sprint planning.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Competent with Java, (Ideally with some experience or willingness to additionally code in C#)
- Knowledge of SQL and relational database design
- Understanding of version control (e.g. Git) and unit testing practices
- Eagerness to learn and improve
- Good communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- Exposure to agile development environments
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms or CI/CD tools
- Exposure to Investment Banking / Financial Services organization
Education: It expected the successful candidate will be educated to undergraduate degree level or above
