What You'll Do
Lead complex technology initiatives across the organisation, delivering scalable and high-impact solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise standards.
- Lead and manage large-scale, companywide technology initiatives with broad impact
- Contribute to the development of engineering standards and enterprise-wide best practices
- Design, code, test, debug, and document applications and solutions for projects and programs
- Analyse and review complex technology solutions considering business needs, technical feasibility, and long-term strategy
- Drive architectural decisions and implement best practices for scalable and resilient systems
- Influence and guide engineering teams to meet deliverables and drive innovation initiatives
- Collaborate with senior technology leaders, architects, and external stakeholders to resolve complex technical challenges
- Evaluate new technologies and industry best practices to improve solution quality and delivery
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, performance optimisation, and secure development practices
- Lead project execution, mentor team members, and support skill development within the team
Expertise You'll Bring
Strong technical leadership experience with deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and React, along with the ability to drive enterprise-level engineering practices.
- 812 years of experience in software development and technology leadership roles
- Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot for backend development
- Experience in building user interfaces using React
- Expertise in designing and developing scalable distributed systems
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Experience in analysing complex technical problems and providing effective solutions
- Familiarity with modern development practices including CI/CD, version control, and Agile methodologies
- Ability to influence technical decisions and drive best practices across teams
- Experience mentoring developers and leading engineering teams
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
