Job Title: Desktop Support & Network Engineer
Location Indore (Dhar)
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support & Network Engineer responsible for providing technical assistance, maintaining IT infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and ensuring smooth network operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Desktop Support
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
Provide Level 1 & Level 2 technical support to end users.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and application-related issues.
Install and upgrade operating systems and standard software.
Manage user accounts, email configuration, and system access.
Handle IT asset management and inventory tracking.
Provide remote and onsite support to users.
Network Administration
Configure and maintain LAN/WAN networks.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Configure routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
Manage IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VPN connectivity.
Ensure network security and implement access controls.
Coordinate with ISP/vendors for network-related issues.
System & Security Management
Perform regular system backups and updates.
Install antivirus and ensure endpoint security compliance.
Monitor system logs and resolve security vulnerabilities.
Support server and shared folder access management.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Windows OS and basic Linux systems.
Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN).
Experience with routers, switches, and firewall configuration.
Knowledge of Active Directory and user management.
Troubleshooting skills for hardware and network issues.
Remote support tools experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering.
Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, Network+ preferred.
25 years of relevant experience in Desktop Support & Networking.
