Job Description

Title: Desktop Support Engineer

Experience: 1.5+ years

Location: Gurugram

Skills Required: IT Support , Remote Support , Ticket handling

Notice Period: Immediate joiner or up to 15 days

We at Coforge are seeking a Desktop support Engineer to Provide L1 technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L1 technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals
  • Handle and resolve tickets via ticketing tools (SLA driven)
  • Troubleshoot Windows OS, MS Office, Outlook, VPN, and network issues
  • Manage meeting rooms (VC setup, projectors, AV support)
  • User account management (Active Directory, password reset, access)
  • Coordinate with L2/L3 teams for escalations

Requirements:

  • 1.5+ years of experience in corporate IT/Desktop Support
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in ticket handling and technical support
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking (LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN)
  • Hands-on experience in meeting room/AV support

Preferred:

  • ITIL knowledge
  • Experience with tools like ServiceNow/Remedy
