Desktop Support Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer L1 to provide first-level technical support to end users. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and IT-related issues, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and standard software applications.
• Respond to IT support requests via ticketing systems, email, phone, or walk-ins.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
• Configure and support Microsoft Outlook, Office 365, Teams, and other business applications.
• Assist users with password resets, account unlocks, and Active Directory-related requests.
• Install and maintain antivirus software and security updates.
• Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including system setup and asset allocation.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams as required.
• Follow IT policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs).
