About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our dynamic team at Renovision Automation Services Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the IT infrastructure, providing technical assistance to end-users, and ensuring seamless operation of desktop systems and related equipment. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 1.5 years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles. A strong understanding of Windows operating systems, Outlook installation, and Office 365 troubleshooting is essential. Hands-on experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms is required. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities effectively. A relevant technical diploma or certification in IT support or related fields will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive technical support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices to ensure minimal downtime.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft Outlook and Office 365 applications, ensuring optimal performance for end-users.
- Manage and resolve IT support tickets efficiently using the designated ticketing system, prioritizing issues based on urgency and impact.
- Perform system upgrades, software installations, and configuration management to maintain up-to-date and secure systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware failures, software conflicts, and network connectivity problems, escalating issues when necessary.
- Offer end-user support through remote or on-site assistance, ensuring timely resolution of all IT-related queries.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses, and configurations, and coordinate with vendors for procurement and support when required.
- Assist in the documentation of standard operating procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the IT support team.
