Title: Desktop Engineer L1/ L2

Location: Dubai, UAE

Worksite: Fully Onsite in the UAE

Joining: Immediate (30 Days)

Experience: 3-5+ Years

Included: Visa Sponsorship and flight

Excluded: Stay, food, Office Commute

Duration: 6 months

Role Overview

We are looking for a Desktop Engineer to provide onsite enduser support and ensure smooth daytoday IT operations. The role involves supporting desktops, laptops, operating systems, and workplace IT tools while maintaining high service quality and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2 desktop support for end users (onsite)
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
  • Support Windows OS, standard enterprise applications, and Office tools
  • Handle hardware and software issues, system errors, and performance problems
  • Perform OS installations, upgrades, and patching
  • User account support (password resets, access issues, basic AD tasks)
  • Manage IT assets, inventory, and device lifecycle
  • Coordinate with network, security, and server teams when required
  • Document issues, solutions, and procedures
  • Follow ITIL processes for incident, request, and change management
  • Support VIP users and business-critical systems when required

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10/11)
  • Desktop & laptop hardware troubleshooting
  • MS Office / Microsoft 365 support
  • Basic Active Directory (user accounts, group policies)
  • Printer and peripheral support
  • Remote support tools
  • Good understanding of IT support processes

Good to Have Skills

  • Experience with Intune, SCCM, or endpoint management tools
  • Basic networking knowledge (LAN, VPN, WiFi)
  • Endpoint security awareness
  • ITIL certification (preferred, not mandatory)

Experience & Education

  • Experience: 35 years in Desktop / IT Support role
  • Education: Diploma / Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
